The Australian Defence Force (ADF) is conducting a land, sea and air-based training exercise from May 23 to June 24, 2022.
Exercise Diamond Storm will see an increased presence of personnel and aircraft, including flying activities at night-time, operating from RAAF Base Darwin throughout the exercise period.
The public can expect to see low-flying aircraft and increased movement of military personnel and vehicles within the area.
Flying times for Exercise Diamond Storm will vary throughout the exercise. The Northern Territory community can expect flying during daylight hours from May 30 to June 24.
Exercise Diamond Storm 22 will involve day and night missions from June 6 to 17.
Aviators at RAAF Bases Darwin will conduct an afternoon mission and an evening mission.
There will be no exercise flying after 11pm.
There is no planned weekend flying for Exercise Diamond Storm.
