Low flying aircraft formation over RAAF Base Williamtown

There will be a formation flypast over RAAF Base Williamtown on 23 October as part of the official dedication of a new five-storey office building to be named for Leonard ‘Len’ Waters, the only known Indigenous RAAF fighter pilot of World War II.
10.10am – 10.20am, Friday 23 October 2020
A 77SQN F/A-18A Hornet, a 2SQN E-7A Wedgetail, as well as an historic P-40E Kittyhawk and potentially a CAC Wirraway aircraft will fly over the base from east – west before landing.
