Up to five Air Force historic aircraft will conduct flypasts in support of the Vietnam Veterans’ Day commemoration at the Shrine of Remembrance.

In support of the Vietnam Veterans’ Day commemoration, up to five aircraft from the RAAF Museum will conduct flypasts over the Shrine of Remembrance at 11am on 18 August.
Also known as Long Tan Day, Vietnam Veterans’ Day falls on 18 August each year.
The Vietnam War was Australia’s longest military engagement of the 20 th century. Almost 60,000 Australians fought in the war and more than 500 lost their lives.
The Vietnam Veterans’ Day is an opportunity for Australians to reflect on the service and sacrifice of these brave men and women.
