Night flying at Salt Ash Weapons Range and Tanilba Bay

The Royal Australian Air Force would like to advise the communities of Salt Ash and Tanilba Bay that up to four F/A-18A/B aircraft from 77SQN will be conducting night flying. 

The night flying is in support of Exercise Black Dagger, a 4SQN Joint Terminal Attack Controller training activity. All flying is scheduled to conclude no later than 10pm. 

DATE: Wednesday 7 October 2020

TIME: Between 7:00pm - 10:00pm

VENUE: Salt Ash Air Weapons Range - Tanilba Bay

Residents should note that the date and time for this activity are subject to variables such as weather and operational availability. 

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military activity, and Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the local community during these training activities.
