A Winjeel and CT-4A aircraft from the RAAF Museum will conduct flypasts over the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne at 12pm on 15 April to commemorate the 76th Anniversary of the award of the George Cross to the people of Malta.

The Winjeel is an Australian-designed and manufactured three-seat training aircraft. It entered service with the RAAF in 1955 as a basic to advanced training aircraft and served this role until 1974.

CT-4A is a single engine two-seat primary trainer and it replaced the Winjeel in 1975 and served in the RAAF until 1992.

All flying is subject to change due to weather and operational requirements.
