Up to three F/A-18A/B Hornet pilots originally from Adelaide, Port Pirie, and the Fleurieu Peninsula will fly in formation over South Australia. The multi-role fighter aircraft are based at RAAF Base Tindal in the Northern Territory and are in South Australia to participate in the Edinburgh Air Show on 9 and 10 November at RAAF Base Edinburgh. The aircraft will be flying at 300 feet over water, and 500 feet over built up areas and coming into the Adelaide CBD from the north.
