In the lead-up preparation to Sunsuper Riverfire, Brisbane residents can expect to see an F/A-18F Super Hornet aircraft flying at low level over the city on Friday, 27 September at around 1pm.
The Super Hornet will conduct passes over the Brisbane River and the CBD as the crew expertly manoeuvre the aircraft as part of the preparation for Riverfire display.
The flying display will provide the public a great opportunity to take photos of the aircraft.
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying. Air Force appreciates the support it receives from South East Queensland community and residents. .
All flying is subject to variables including weather, air traffic control, and operational availability and may be subject to cancellation at short notice.
