Residents of the central west of New South Wales are advised two F-35A Lightning II aircraft will conduct low level flying on Wednesday afternoon (2 December 2020).
 
The aircraft will conduct low level flying mission in the Cowra, Grenfell, Parkes and Cudal areas at approximately 1.50pm to 2.30pm.
 
The F-35A Lightning II are based at RAAF Base Williamtown near Newcastle, NSW and are part of a growing fleet of fifth generation aircraft which are replacing the F/A-18A/B Classic Hornets.
 
Please be advised the times and locations are liable to change.
 
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military activity, and Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the community during these training activities.
