Hughes
A satellite field for Darwin, Hughes saw limited service in the initial stages of the Pacific campaign, but was rapidly superseded by more suitable airfields built after 1943. Hughes was the short-term home of Nos 13 and 34 Squadrons, and No 1 Photo Reconnaissance Unit.
