Pearce

Constructed from 1935 as a permanent base in Western Australia, Pearce was home to Nos 14 and 25 Squadrons during World War II. Following the war, Pearce housed many varied operations, but in 1958, with the arrival of No 1 Advanced Flying Training School and the Vampire jet trainer, the base took on its current role as the home of advanced training for the RAAF's Pilots.
