Flight Lieutenant James Dutschke

Flight Lieutenant James Dutschke grew up in the Barossa Valley and began flying gliders at the age of 16. He joined the RAAF in 2007 and following pilots course flew the F/A-18F Super Hornet. 

In 2014, he graduated as a Qualified Flying Instructor before instructing on the CT4/b in Tamworth. In 2017, he was posted back to No.1 Squadron where he completed an operational tour and 3 years instructing on the F/A-18F Super hornet. In 2022, he was posted to Central Flying School to instruct on the PC-21.

James has amassed over 3500 flying hours and this is his third season flying with the Roulettes. Outside of work James loves family time with his wife and 2 young sons, as well as Mountain Biking and Skiing.
