Air Force KC-30A training flight to Hobart

An Air Force KC-30A aircraft from No.33 Squadron will be conducting a training sortie to Hobart Airport.

The 33SQN KC-30A, based at RAAF Amberley Queensland, is conducting a routine training flight to Hobart. The aircraft is a civilian A330 variant and is one of the largest aircraft that is able to land at Hobart Airport.

Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, the flight may be subject to cancellation at short notice.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
