EA-18G Growler and F-35A Lightning II flypast overhead RAAF Base Amberley

A Royal Australian Air Force EA-18G Growler from No.6 Squadron and a F-35A Lightning II aircraft from No.3 Squadron will conduct a flypast over RAAF Base Amberley, Queensland, during the Combat Support Group Commander Handover-Takeover parade.

All display activities are conducted within strict safety and operational guidelines.

Residents are advised this activity will be conducted on Friday 25 August 2023 at approximately 9.05am.

Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
