F-35A Lightning II aircraft flying activity RAAF Base East Sale

The F-35A aircraft will conduct low-level circuits on approach before landing at RAAF Base East Sale. The aircraft will depart approximately 3.30pm returning to their home location of RAAF Base Williamtown, New South Wales.

Flying is subject to change, including short notice cancellation, due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.

  • Up to two Royal Australian Air Force F-35A Lightning II aircraft from 81 Wing will visit RAAF Base East Sale on Monday 17 October.
  • Arriving approximately 11am, departing 3.30pm
