Fast jet aircraft to conduct training at RAAF Base Darwin

Up to two Royal Australian Air Force EA-18G Growlers from No. 6 Squadron and one F/A‑18F Super Hornet from No. 1 Squadron will conduct training from RAAF Base Darwin.

The aircraft will be operating from RAAF Base Darwin and utilising the Delamere Air Weapons Range. Domestic deployments and training at alternative airfields are an essential element of operational preparedness, currency and proficiency objectives.

Flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather and other aviation considerations.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying. Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the community during these training activities.
