Community engagement
The Royal Australian Air Force is host an Extended Fighter Detachment (EFD) from the Republic of Singapore Air Force (RSAF) over the period of June – October 2024. During this time, there will be periods of increased flying operations out of RAAF Base Pearce in Bullsbrook, Western Australia.
The following community engagement activities have occurred to date:
Local Council Engagement
On Sunday 09 June: community information session with the City of Swan and Shire of Gingin councillors.

Monday 10 June: Air Force attendance the monthly Bullsbrook Residents and Ratepayers Association meeting to provide information on the EFD.
Friday 28 June 2024: RAAF Base Pearce held a Community Stakeholder Day to introduce the first Republic of Singapore Air Force Extended Fighter Detachment to key members of the local community. A letter to residents has been distributed throughout the community advising of increased flying operations
Flying schedule
Additional to the Pilatus PC-21, and Hawk-127 Lead-in Fighter aircraft which are currently based out of RAAF Base Pearce, the base will host small detachments of F-15SG and F-16C/D aircraft from the Republic of Singapore Air Force.
The EFD will be supported by approximately 120 personnel for training operations in three sequences over the June to October 2024 period.

Whilst every opportunity to reduce impacts to the local community will be taken, flying is subject to change due to variables such as air traffic control requirements, weather, and other aviation considerations.
