Saturday 23 March, 2024 RAAF Base Edinburgh will host an unforgettable day of adventure and discovery. This free open day event offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the exciting world of the Australian Defence Force.
From 8am to 12pm, get an up-close look at Australian Defence Force aircraft, see a range military equipment and displays and speak with our serving members.
Food and refreshments will be available throughout the day.
You must have a ticket to attend the open day. Due to the overwhelming positive interest in this event, ticket allocation has now been exhausted and no further tickets will be available.
Conditions of Entry
Wear flat enclosed shoes. Visitors will be denied entry if enclosed footwear is not worn.
Bag searches will be conducted.
No alcohol permitted.
No pets allowed with the exception of assistance animals.
Parking
Free onsite parking (including disability parking) will be provided at RAAF Base Edinburgh. A shuttle bus service will run between the car parks to help members of the public get to and from the exhibitor locations. ADF personnel will be available on foot to help assist with directions to parking and shuttle buses.
Last entry to the car park will be at 11am to allow time for parking, shuttle bus and to visit the exhibits.
This event will be outdoors, so please monitor the weather and bring a hat, sunscreen and water. The RAAF Base Edinburgh Community Open Day may be subject to change, or cancellation, at short notice due to adverse weather.
