Royal Australian Air Force will conduct a flying display with two F-35A aircraft at Kununurra Airport to celebrate 10 years of Exercise Kummundoo.
A static display will also be held with students, elders and locals prior to the flying display.
Dental, medical, and environmental health teams from the Royal Australian Air Force will collaborate with communities in and around Kununurra, Western Australia, providing clinics and education programs as part of Exercise Kummundoo 2024.
Celebrating its 10th anniversary, Exercise Kummundoo will see its largest deployment yet, with new allied health and community outreach teams joining for the first time. This initiative by the Royal Australian Air Force honours the enduring contributions and legacy of Indigenous Australians as the original custodians of our land and skies.
Interviews with Air Force Personnel on Exercise Kummundoo, as well as OVAHS spokespeople are available. To arrange an interview, please reach out the media contacts below.
Flying is subject to variables including air traffic control requirements, weather, and operational availability. As such, flypasts and displays may be cancelled at short notice.
