The Royal Australian Air Force advises that Number 6 Squadron are conducting flying activities as part of preparedness and integration Exercise Amarok Reach throughout various locations around Australia.

Residents living in these areas are to be aware that there will be up to four EA-18G Growlers and 1 C-27J Spartan Aircraft conducting exercise activities during daylight hours that may include low level flying.

During the visit to RAAF Base East Sale, Aircrew will host briefs and conduct tours of the EA-18G Growler with young aviators training to fly ADF aircraft.

RAAF Base East Sale plays a major role in training the next generation of Air Force personnel under the Air Academy. This includes:

• New Officers at the Officer's Training School;
• Mission Controllers, Mission Aircrew and Operations Officers at the Air Mission Training School (AMTS); and
• Air Traffic Controllers at the School of Air Traffic Control.

Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying.
