Flying schedule
- RAAF Base Townsville will play host to EA-18G Growlers out of RAAF Base Amberley near Ipswich on 5 and 6 December
Up to three aircraft will conduct training in the overwater airspace, land at RAAF Base Townsville, refuel and head home to RAAF Base Amberley. Training is dependent on weather.
Approximate times:
- Monday 5 December - Arrive 12.30pm and depart 2.30pm
- Tuesday 6 December – Arrive 12.30pm and depart 2.30pm
Noise reduction and the environment are vital considerations in the planning and conduct of military flying. Air Force appreciates the ongoing support of the community.
